Dodes: Teacher wannabe, feminist, breast cancer survivor, writer. Self-aware, self-deprecating. Humor saves me. The first person I want to see when I die is Grandma Irene. Gram taught us the song, "Let Me Call You Sweetheart." My cousins and I used to pile into Gram's bed and sing it, along with a couple of silly, two-line songs before sleep. I miss her -- she lived for her grandchildren.
